This school year, I have met amazing friends who made every day worth it. Check out the blogs of 10 of them!

Patricia Mae Austria – If I tell you about a package of aesthetic, KPOP, and Marvel, all in one, would you believe me? If not, then I kid you not, because somewhere in Darwin 11, this girl is a literal embodiment of it. Meet Patricia Austria! I have known her since Grade 9, but I only got immersed into her world when we became classmates in Grade 11. If you need advices on anything, photographic skills, artistic skills, and someone to fangirl with when it comes to groups like GOT7 and GFRIEND, then you have met the right girl.

Maria Patricia Reyes – She’s silent, she’s tough, she’s observant, she’s blunt, and she can look through you. Don’t be afraid, because once you get to know her, you can see that she’s one of the people worth keeping. Also known as Pat (like the first one mentioned), I have seen her around the campus during our JHS years, but I only knew her intensively (name and personality and all) once we became classmates in Grade 11. Also an adviser, you can feel an aura of wisdom around her. She’s a fan of anime, video games, and kpop (just like Pat Austria omg).

Kelly Marie Buan – You can hear her joyous screams throughout the classroom. If that’s so, then it’s probably because she is laughing over something funny with her friends, playing a mobile game, shouting at her friends, or just dancing to beat. Enter Kelly Buan, as beautiful as the moon. She is a volleyball plater and a great artist. This girl is also a really skilled dancer who likes KPOP, especially Red Velvet. During our years in junior high school, I have known through facebook and I have seen her around the campus. I have only known her personally when we became classmates in Grade 11.

Francesca Lorraine Bitangcor – A skilled broadcaster in Filipino? Check. Someone who is talented in the arts? Check. A girl with a versatile personality, from a happy-go-lucky person to a no-nonsense leader? Check. May I introduce you to… Cesca Bitangcor! You can hear the melody in her voice, enhanced by years of training as a journalist. You can always help her, and in return she can provide what you’ve been looking for. I have known Cesca through Facebook, and I think we have talked several times during our JHS years (I don’t recall them but she does). I have only known her personally when she became my Grade 11 classmate.

Bea Bianca Atilano – This girl is an epitome of a girly-girl with an /occasional/ sharp tongue. Whenever you think of Hello Kitty, glamorous designs, and make-up, our BeaBee comes in mind. But wait! Being girly doesn’t scream weak (it’s 2019, c’mon people!). Just look at Bea, and she can prove that a beauty guru is tougher than you thought. She can give you the most honest opinions, and you’ll thank her for it. I have known Bea since Grade 7, because we were classmates that time. It took us 4 years to be reunited again in the same classroom.

Angelo Nazar – Being the only boy and the youngest (both in family and group of friends) made him the dearest in our hearts. Protect him, I’d say, he’s too pure, just like the angel he is named after. However, our Emman can handle almost ANYTHING thrown at him. Number one: He is versatile in his movements, which is exhibited in his dance outbursts with the songs of girl and boy groups of KPOP. Number two: He is a a really skilled volleyball player, and I can assure you the ball goes way above the net and he never misses a beat. Number three: Most importantly, when you need someone to take walks with, he is everyday available, no matter how far that is. I have met Angelo briefly during our JHS years (and by the wrong name, I’m sorry). When he became my classmate in Grade 11, sometimes I became awestruck on how cool this boy is.

Bayan Roel Paraunda – Random bursts of knowledge became the talk of the day, and I swear, you’ll never get bored of it. A willing learner in the field of science (particularly in robotics), and politics, Bayan is the life of a discussion. He always knows what to say, and he’s really expressive in his thoughts. He is also a technological person, and he knows the right gears to move. I have known and talked to Bayan throughout our JHS years, and I am glad of the formation of our friendship this year.

Lorenz Dumo – Who says one can’t be book smart, street smart, sporty, and a dancer at the same time? Surely you haven’t met the one and only Lorenz Dumo! He has been my classmate since Grade 9, and I tell you, Lorenz (or Dumo as he is occasionally called), never failed to amaze me with his talented antics. There is always that life in him whatever he does. Additionally, he can make you laugh and is really reliable to a fault.

David Jeshurun Basco – Before meeting David myself, I became a classmate of his twin brother, Daniel, back in Grade 8. Even during our JHS years, I have heard the differences in terms of personality between them. I can say David is the quieter of the two. When he became my classmate in Grade 11, it proved to be somewhat true. David is a really reliable friend who is willing to share your burden in tasks, even when he forgets his own (that’s how selfless he is). All I can say is I am happy that a friendship has formed between us.

Jordan Roque Cadeliña – I have known Jordan since we were classmates in Grade 8, and I can assure you that he can solve almost any math problem thrown at him. Not only does he get the powerful 99 in Math, he is very talented and confident, considering that he is always ready to report. This guy enjoys playing ML, singing, and dancing, and occasionally you’d see him burst out his moves randomly. In addition, Jordan is a really kind friend who’s actions are also for good.
